Ben and Ari's Miniature Golf

We got up early last Saturday and ventured over to Ben and Ari's, a nearby arcade and putt-putt course. We have always enjoyed playing miniature golf at the Brown County Inn in Nashville, Indiana, so we thought we'd try out the fancy course at Ben and Ari's.

They have two 18-hole courses. The blue is the easiest, and the red is the hardest. We started with the blue.

As you can tell, the courses are pretty nicely landscaped and there are lots of hazards. Also, they use landscaping stones as borders, so it's difficult to get a good ricochet shot.

They did water overnight, so some greens were wet and one hole was actually under water, and one or two fountains weren't on yet. They had just opened up for the day, but none of these things really interfered with us having a good time, so we just played around them.

Nets are provided in case you need to fish your ball out of the water. Here's Anita doing just that.

The dreaded 16th hole on the red course. I put the ball into the water twice.

We'll be back, that's for sure. For $5 each we had 1 1/2 hours of entertainment. Normally, it's $5 per course, but they gave us a discount.

Of course, on the way out, I stopped and played my all-time favorite arcade game, Galaga.
