We definitely weren't the first ones to think that stopping to pick strawberries and peas was a good idea. The strawberry field was pretty well picked over by the time we arrived.

And we got a few handfuls of snow peas. There were plenty of snow peas, English peas, and sugar snap peas to be had.

It was about 85° and mostly sunny. In hindsight, we should've brought water to drink! We were sunburned and thirsty when we were done. Fortunately, they did have bottled water for sale at the farm.
Both the strawberries and peas were only $1.89 / pound. Not a bad deal at all! Both were great, but the strawberries weren't as sweet as we'd hoped. Next time we'll try and get there the day they start to ripen.
