Garlic Cheese Bread

This isn't your normal, everyday cheese bread. The asiago really kicks it up, along with the green onions.

Makes: 8 servings
Prep time: 10 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 1 loaf French bread or a baguette
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 1 cup Monterrey Jack cheese, shredded
  • 1 cup Asiago cheese, shredded
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 3 green onions, sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

1. Preheat oven to 350° F.

2. Split bread in half horizontally.

3. Mix the remaining ingredients in a small bowl. Spread mixture on bread halves.

4. Bake for 7 minutes, then place under broiler on high for 3 more minutes until brown and bubbly. Slice and serve.
